The Lie says to the Truth: "The water is very nice, let's take a bath together!" The Truth, ever so suspicious of the Lie , tests the water and discovers that it is indeed very nice. They undress & start to bathe. Suddenly, the Lie comes out of the water, puts on the clothes of the Truth & runs away. The furious Truth comes out of the well & runs everywhere to find the Lie to get its clothes back. The World, seeing the Truth naked, turns its gaze away with contempt & mockery. The poor Truth returns to the well & disappears forever, hiding there in its shame. Since then, the Lie travels around the world, dressed as the Truth, satisfying the needs of society, because, the World, in any case, harbors no wish at all to meet the naked Truth..
Dear Believer, when was the last time you audited your beliefs or 'proved' yourself ? My faith was challenged many years ago & after much research, I discovered that some of the major doctrines & practices embraced by the church which I had taken for granted to be true, were found to be un biblical . You may find some of the topics here disturbing, & understandably so as they deal with issues that are central to the Christian faith. And although some have been liberated by the unravelling of these false doctrines, the many will continue to ignore them even when the evidence is laid bare. This is to be expected. After all, the masses have clung onto false false beliefs & have done so for hundreds of years. This is a logical fallacy called argumentum ad numerum, which asserts that the more people who support or believe a proposition, the more likely it is that that proposition should be true. But just as something true does not become untrue if no one believes in it, something that is not true will not become true if more people believed in it. Truth cannot be attained through the consensus of the majority. The Earth was never flat even if the whole world believed so.
Wrong learning leads to wrong teaching. False teachings have been a regular feature of the life of the ecclessia. ( church ) The Apostle Paul clearly knew that false teachers would arise. When he spoke to the Ephesian elders before his final trip to Jerusalem, he warned them that after his departure, savage wolves would enter the flock from outside (Acts 20:29). Even more disturbingly, he warned them that even from among themselves men would rise up speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples (Acts 20:30).
Could this happen today? Absolutely. How? Well, apart from other contributing factors, ministers and church leaders today are schooled in the theological seminaries of their particular denominations where their form of tradition have become established doctrines. Graduates from these seminaries take office, preaching their time-honored traditions. In Matthew 15:6, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus )makes this point clear to the religious leaders, "Thus you have made the commandment of God of NO EFFECT by your tradition.... and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'
Spiritual Apathy. To make matters worse, many Believers attend services week in and out in a setting that is more conducive towards promoting a form of religion rather than a relationship with our Creator God Yahweh & make little effort to check if the doctrines they are taught have any Biblical basis.
2 Pet 1:20-2:3 says: But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, ... and MANY will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned .
This site is meant to expose the pagan inspired teachings & traditions of man that have become doctrine in mainstream Christianity. It is also a call for Reformation, to return to early house church practices, and an awakening to Christianity's Hebraic roots. If truth matters to you, I encourage you to examine the doctrines and traditions highlighted here using scripture as your guide & discernment from the Holy Spirit of Yahweh God.
